In observance of Memorial Day, there will be NO street sweeping and NO trash service on Monday, May 27th. Trash pick up routes will resume one day later than your regular scheduled date. If your regular street sweeping day lands on Monday, please note that street sweeping will not be made up during the week, but will resume the following week on schedule.
In some instances, the altered trash schedule may cause trash collection to fall on the same day that street sweeping is scheduled. During these times, trash barrels MUST be placed on the parkway so not to hinder the street sweeper from sweeping streets.
If the trash collection schedule is a concern for business and industrial accounts, please contact your hauler to make special arrangements prior to the holiday.

The Energy Upgrade California in LA County Program
Energy Upgrade California in Los Angeles County offers residents incentives and rebates (up to $4,500) for making energy efficiency upgrades to their homes. By working with a specially trained Participating Contractor, program participants can get an assessment of their home's energy use and specific recommendations to make their home more energy efficient. Once the selected upgrades are completed, participants typically reduce their energy use by approximately 10 to 45 percent and earn rebates and incentives that help pay for some of the costs of achieving those savings. In turn, homeowners not only save money by lowering their utility bills, but they also directly reduce their impact on the environment by using less energy and make their homes more comfortable and healthy to live in.
